Mammaw’s banana pudding

I’d like to share with you how I make the BEST banana pudding. This was my great grandmother’s recipe that she taught me how to make when I was 14 years old …

What you’ll need:

about 6 large ripe bananas
2 boxes of French vanilla pudding prepared according to package directions
vanilla wafers

Slice the bananas up so they are small round slices. Put a layer of vanilla wafers down then a layer of the banana slices. Cover this with one of the boxes of pudding. Make another layer of wafers, then another layer of bananas. Cover with the other box of pudding. Now make a pretty design with vanilla wafers on the top. I always make a flower. Put it in the fridge and chill overnight. I promise everyone will love it!

Cost:
bananas – $2.15
pudding – $0.49/ box
vanilla wafers – $0.99
whipped topping – $0.99
Total – $5.11
